About PledgeStar

PledgeStar is the brainchild of two elementary school dads, Robb Glen and Steve Kramer.

In May, 2012, Robb had an idea that their school's fundraisers could raise more money using the Internet to expand their donor pool.

Robb shared the idea with his neighbor Steve, who runs a successful Internet company. After refining the idea, they shared it with their school's PTA president who suggested they build a system for the school's Jog-A-Thon.

After months of requirements gathering, development and testing, PledgeStar launched its first three Jog-A-Thon websites in January, 2013.
